Words can not truly explain how much Rose means to me, on a personal and emotional level. To see a not just large, but visibly fat (with actual rolls and chub) character on a popular TV show that is not made fun of, sexualized, or just there for comic relief is so incredible to me. As a fat girl myself, canon XXL character with bright colored hair = SIGN ME UP!
This is a re-do of an older art of mine that I made the night the Steven Universe episode “Story for Steven” aired, and it’s just a labor of love since. I edit it now and again, just playing with the pinks and the hair, and now, I think my tribute to the character with the rose curls is complete. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do!
